Hiking and camping can be fun at any age. Children who are a little older can start participating in everything else: skiing, biking, fishing - whatever you love doing the most. In the town of Jackson you'll find concerts, plays, and creative classes at the Center For The Arts, and lots of fun community activities like the People's Market and the Jackson Hole Rodeo. We also recommend checking out the Teton County Recreation Center for organized youth sports leagues, swimming lessons, and (coming soon) the climbing gym! 

Grand Teton National Park has a variety of popular short day hikes that are perfect for kids. We highly recommend planning a day to walk to Phelps Lake and Inspiration Point. There's great trails at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Grand Targhee Resort, and Snow Kind Mountain Resort - or ride one of their lifts up to the top for easy sightseeing.

There are tons of childcare options in Jackson Hole, depending on the age of your children and their needs. Those range from full-service daycare facilities to private nannies, along with summer camps and classes. Jackson Hole has a huge variety of restaurants, ranging from super casual to high-end fine dining. Most - if not all - restaurants will accomodate kids, but we all know that not all dining experiences are fun for little ones. We highly recommend The Calico, Dornan's, and The Mangy Moose for their outside spaces that are usually filled with kids playing while they wait for their food.
